We have had the good fortune to travel all over the world, producing concerts and live events in every corner of the globe. For this we consider ourselves some of the luckiest people on Earth.

During these travels we have also had the experience of witnessing some of the unluckiest, and these memories have stayed with us as a guiding principal on how we do our jobs.

Here at NG9 we are extremely proud of the fact that every year we give a significant percentage of our profits to Oxfam America. Nobody asks or suggests that we do this, we just do it because it’s the right thing to do. It’s everyone’s duty to fight poverty. Please take a minute to view the Oxfam website and do what you can to help. Remember, the money you spend on a run to the coffee shop could save a child from malaria.

When Typhoon Haiyan devastated the Philippines, you – along with thousands of other Oxfam supporters – immediately stepped up to help communities rebuild and recover. Thank you.

Last month, I traveled to the Philippines to witness your donation in action. What I saw: hope and gratitude. A lot of work remains, but – with your support and the determination of Filipinos – life is slowly returning to normal.

Already, we've been able to reach more than 550,000 people with relief, including shelter materials, water purification kits, sanitation services, hygiene kits and education, cash support, rice seed, and kits for pregnant women. We also provided equipment and funds to help
